Second tandem tour - Geyso20 at the Sprengel Museum Hanover
The Studio as a Community#Geyso20 - Markus Zimmermann and Timo Winner
Sprengel Museum Hanover, february 14, 2025.
How do we want to live together? Timo Winner, artist at the Geyso20 studio, has very concrete answers optimising the urban space. In 2023, he has started his collaboration with Markus Zimmermann: As part of a workshop week, organised by Atelier 23, Lebenshilfe Gießen, they have built an object showing a covered traffic network.
Markus Zimmermann, an artist living and working in Frankfurt on the Main, creates something new out of something used. At first glance, no longer useful, Zimmermann returns things to the social sphere. Collaborative experiences with the ‘new’ create encounters and connections, provide answers.
