Workshop with Nina Pfannenstiel, Kunstwerkstatt Mosaik Berlin

On march 4, we had a workshop, together with Nina Pfannenstiel, founder and director of Kunstwerkstatt Mosaik Berlin. Subjecta like "attitude" and "curation" are topics that we have talked about.

What makes working in studios like Geyso20 particularly exciting, is the speciality of the day-to-day work, dealing with people who need assistance and who are strong artistic personalities.

In addition to the studio work, the workshop focussed on our collection work. Here, the artists' biographies, which are often important in order to understand the artworks, are in the interest of our work. The contact with the artists, their families, legal carers and also employees of the residential homes are important for the studio life and work.

We are delighted to have welcomed Nina Pfannenstiel as a dedicated colleague. After exhibition projects, most recently in 2018 with "same but different", it was a lovely and inspiring reunion!
